Ft. Lauderdale Antique Car Museum
1527 SW 1st Ave, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33315
Yesterday I was invited to tour the Ft. Lauderdale Antique Car Museum. This is a hidden little gem in Ft. Lauderdale for the antique car enthusiast. This museum is devoted to the Packard brand car and has approximately 25 cars from the early 1900s to the 1960s. The museum has the cars to look at, but also a massive amount of memorabilia such as, hood ornaments, ash trays, a headlight room, children’s peddle cars, cigarette lighters by the dozens, and on and on.
For the antique car enthusiast, if you are ever in Ft. Lauderdale, take the time to visit this little but exciting look back in time at the Packard automobile. The museum manager is very enthusiastic and can explain details about each car, which each car also has a documented book on the history of the car.
This is a must see museum for the antique car guy and the pictures I post here don’t do it justice. Just look at the cars and all the memorabilia on the walls.
Below are some of the pictures I took, but there is so much more to see than the pictures listed below.
